Abscesses: these are pockets of infection, which can form from fairly minor breaks in the skin. Pus accumulates under the skin, sometimes forming a sizable lump (which may sometimes begin draining on its own). Abscesses can form from cuts or scratches on the skin and also in the cheek pouches if abrasive food material causes scratches in the lining. If a hamster continually looks like it has food in packed in its cheek pouches, there may be an abscess or an impacted cheek pouch present. Abscesses require veterinary attention for draining, flushing, and treatment with antibiotics.

if your hamster ever gets out stay calm just try to look for hamster close the door in the room your hamster escaped in you it is still in your house unless the front or back door but that will not happen also cloe every door so he cant escape

try to give your hamsters a really dark area to sleep during the day so when you do that they will really happy

you can get treats from petco also if you get this yogurt treat for them from there only feed your hamster  one a day

if  your hamster chews through metal mesh it means it has really strong teeth also its nothing i would be to concerned about also i would upgrade to a better kind of mesh

here are some ideas for a homemade hamster home. if you have a plastic conntainer you take the lid and you cut holes in the lid and then you take mush and glue it with a glue gun and then you take the plastic container and cut another hole in it also make a hole for the water bottle and to hole for the thing that holds it and you fill it up with bedding and put some toilet paper and put it in the cage so the hamster can have a little cave

2. Make a mixture of the oatmeal, green veggies (peas, green beans), and orange veggies (sweet potatoes, squash, carrot). Each ingredient should be 1/3 of the entire mixture.
3. Offer this at least once a day, I recommend two-three. You can mix up a small bowl of it and keep it in the fridge so that you don't have to prepare it each meal

There is a rare disease hamster can get.it's called black foot disease. the hamster foot starts turning black and will rot off.then the hamsters tail.Starts turning purple and then falls off. Don't wait take. it to a vet IMMEDIATLY.

My hamster jumpers recently died of wet tail disease. If you see him sleeping at night and he is not a baby and he has a wet tail rush him to the animal hospital fast or buy wet tail drops at pet smart or some other animal place.
