if  your hamster chews through metal mesh it means it has really strong teeth also its nothing i would be to concerned about also i would upgrade to a better kind of mesh

if my instructions are to hard to under stand

here are some ideas for a homemade hamster home. if you have a plastic conntainer you take the lid and you cut holes in the lid and then you take mush and glue it with a glue gun and then you take the plastic container and cut another hole in it also make a hole for the water bottle and to hole for the thing that holds it and you fill it up with bedding and put some toilet paper and put it in the cage so the hamster can have a little cave
